Since joining the RX a little less than 3 weeks ago I have been posting successful selections daily on all sports that appear to go unnoticed except by a few fellow posters who have provided kind words which are very much appreciated.

Please review my posted record and let me know if you think I provide value to these forums. I have tried my best to add my thoughts to the forum without hype because that is not within my character and perhaps therein lies the problem. Please don't be mislead by the unit rating. Not all posters units carry the same dollar value. One dime can equal ten dollars.

I would very much appreciate your responses. Please let me know if I have an audience that appreciates my effort or let me know if you think that I should leave the RX. Thank you very much and as always, good luck to everyone.

Stay but quit whinning. You're new, it takes time to earn respect and the accompaning views that come with it. If you're all that people will take notice. Gamblers are hardcore here and newbies like you have to get in line. Welcome olddudeted

Oldman I am new myself to this forum and am figuring out by trial and error who seem to be the best cappers. In the short time you have posted, you have provided valuable insight into games and your write ups on your reasoning for picks has saved me money (also made me money) more than once. I for one welcome you here and hope you continue your excellent posts

Aloha oldmanTed,

I for one think that you should stay and continue to share your picks. We need balance in this forum and I think you help to do that. This forum does appear to be filled with alot of hype, but that is mostly due to the overwhelming posters being in the age range of late 20's to mid 40's. I am assuming by your name that you are outside of this group.

I also can tell by your humble and low key approach in this forum and in your post that you are a person who is filled with experience and knowledge due to your experience in this game. I personally think thats how we all should be, but most of us including myself are not of your years and are sometimes caught up in the hype and drama of it all. I for one though am capable because of earlier mentors able to see through all this hype and get to the real picture. At least I know you share the real picture and trustworthy truth in your posts and comments. To me, that is a value in itself.

Only suggestion I can make to you is that over time people will see your true worth and value. Most get caught up in all the hype because this is a fast past high roller lifestyle and sometimes hype helps to keep it alive. But trust me, you continue to produce winners and others will notice you and learn to respect your ways as we will learn as we grow that you are a steady solid winner who we should back. I already know this and look at your post to see your selection.

Stick with it, as this capper see the value in you being here. And bty , thanks for sharing some insight in my other thread. It help get me back down and focused on the real task at hand and that is finding sound investments to profit on. Aloha CC.

p.s. I always look forward to knowledgeable people sharing their thoughts on me as well.

Ted, your much better off just quitely posting your plays and consistanly getting the job done; over time, people will notice.

IMO, Your only making your self look like your here for attention when you make sad posts like this.

If your a solid capper, you know that takes consistancey and patience to be successfull, apply that here and you will get the praise your looking for.

PS, GL the rest of the year

Appreciate the responses so far. I offer a brief comment as to my background.

I am relatively new to the RX but anything but to this business. I am 55 years old and have been capping for over 30 years. I retired at the age of 50 after a successful 28 year career. I was able to retire early due to career success, solid financial investments, and treating this endeavor like a business.

Gambling is fun, but if you want to be successful in this business you must treat it as such with separate capital from living capital. If you don't believe this, take a look at the man on the other side of the counter. He will take your money in a heartbeat. You are in a battle with him. My avatar is a fairly decent likeness of me after 30 years in this battle. I have been successful, but paid a heavy price. Anyone that tells you otherwise is not being truthful.

I joined the RX to share a lifetime of knowledge and experience with posters in an effort to help anyone avoid the pitfalls befallen me through those years. I wish nothing more. There will be no hype from me, just the truth. I have seen many, many capable cappers come and go through the years broken by their own personal behavior and lack of money management skills.

I will close for now expressing my appreciation to those who have responded and ask for others to respond as well.

As always, good luck in your plays.

I have noticed your advice in the past few days, and I do find it helpful. It seems that you know a great deal about football. I don't worry too much about a following, but I do post information that may be helpful to the forum. I also gather much information from the forum. This forum has definately been beneficial to me, and I think it will be for you too. Keep posting!

I think a thread that has been viewed is more important. I've seen some threads viewed over 1,000 times but only very limited responses. That could be because nobody wishes to disagree with someone who has a good record capping games or because people do not want to just enter "agree with your statement" and move on to the next post. Most of the time I do not respond is because I do not have time. Think of all the websites forums out there and then the thousands upon thousands of posts to go with them. Most of us need a life outside the internet as well. Hang in there Ted and keep posting....remember every little bit helps!

OldManTED.......Just stick around & don't even worry about everyone else, you should be out to win for yourself. If your hot, or winning consistently, and very few notice, oh well, that's their loss. In the distant past, I began posting plays, and even though the few plays I posted now and then were only ones I felt strong about and won frequently, I felt the same as you, that posting was actually meaningless, and began to realize I needed to continue what I was doing before, which was spending my time on capping for myself, rather than posting write~ups, etc. on here just for attention like some do......

no . . .i think a lot of people are scurrying for info trying to take in as much as they can before a game kicks. look at the views your threads get and you will know you are appreciated. for every 1 guy who posts there are 10 or more "strickly viewers" some who will love the stuff you put up but are doing everything they can to protect anonymity for whatever reason.

having said that, keep up the great work.. . .

Hey Ted, all contributions are welcome. We all have good and bad days but since coming to the RX, my bad days are less. If we always won, gambling would be boring. Keep up the great work!

Ted - Keep posting. Make sure you start each post with your records and units won (if applicable). Make sure you're accurate with that as someone is bound to call you on it if you make a mistake. The more time you put in and the more posts (and success !!!) you have, the more props you'll get. Nick
